Zeni Valpolicella shows real Italian character with pure cherry and also some high acid. Not complex, but still a bit of terroir backed up some road tar and motor oil. Kind of young. Maybe some sandalwood. Does open up to nice plum, boysenberry and soft blueberry for the finish.
