Westborn Brut

Honeysuckle, lemon, stone fruit aroma. Stone fruit, nutty / biscuity, honey, vanilla, and some salty sea spray vibe on the palate. This was very enjoyable. Wild to me this is pinot dominate, but it leans fruit forward.

On the nose, I got citrus, lemon, yellow fruit/apple, and slight brioche. It smelled like a great young vintage champagne. Upon sipping, I got lemon, citrus, and ripe pear. It had a bready/yeast finish. Wow, what a sparkling wine. I am a fan and expect to get more in the future. Overall, really nice and it will only improve (96-99).

So the first time I had this one, it was in the presence of some high-powered food / appetizers in a Fort Worth restaurant.
