My bottle was a 1.5l and Not a reserva. i bought it a year ago at auction. This wine showed wonderful character of the dirt and dust of the RdD. The balance was super and the wine was smooth and supple. The tannins have leveled into light dryness and smooth finish. It probably has another three or four years of prime drinking

So good. Notes of vanilla, light oak, and a touch of dark fruit, with a bit of pepper on the finish.

Just so good. Wonderful notes of dark fruit, predominantly blackberry and fig, with a touch of molasses and balsamic on the finish.

So smooth yet flavorful, full of dark fruit followed by red fruit, mostly raspberries. Wonderful balanced.

Wonderful intensity that is still well balanced. Notes of dark fruit, especially blackberry with a touch of fig. Paired wonderfully with a beef chili.

Deep dark purple color. Full bodied notes of dark fruit up front, including fig and ripe blackberry. On the finish, notes of oak, leather, and tobacco. Smoothed out nicely after decanting a while.

In the glass it is very opaque- deep purple to be precise. The 15% ABV is evident by the thick legs on the glass walls. On the nose I get spicy oak, earthy bramble, rich blackberry, blackcurrant and roasted coffee. There is a whiff of heat, but not obnoxiously overpowering. There is complexity to this nose that I can't wait to taste. On the palate it is all I hoped for, classic Spanish Tempranillo- rich black fruit, good acidity, full …
