Anselmo Mendes Alvarelhão Vinho Verde Muros Antigos

Quite discrete on the nose and palate. There is some bitterness I would guess from the blue Alvarelhao. Not much structure and fruit. Past peak I would say even though it is a feminine style.

Crystalline lemon yellow color. Nose has slightly creamy lime and lots of crushed stone. Really delicious though lean and fairly high in acidity and with a very minerally aftertaste. Not very fruity but great with food.
