This is a category I've been reaching for more often - impressive wine and easier to drink than Amarone but you get the same general vibe wrapped in a fresher container. Aromas of dried fruits and brown sugar, while the flavor profile shows vitality with flavors of fresh strawberries and good acidity. Soft, refined, classy. Nice wine, ready for drinking now.

OK, but very light. Not much fruit, not much finish.

I was expecting slightly better from this producer. Displays a light color even for a Valpolicella with notes of cherry and cola on the nose but you have to coax them out a bit. Medium finish at best with decent acidity but fruit development is just not there. The wine is just a bit too thin, something that aging is not necessarily going to help.
