Has some very nice dry plum and black cherry fruit on a medium body and is bone dry.

Intense, embracing nose of oak and dark fruit, carried through to the forward palate framed by big, chalky tannins. But it drops away mid-palate and leaves a short finish. Pity. Very enjoyable for all that.

Pleasant but unremarkable.

A Good wine, but to not strong. Short finish and a small finish. No fruity. Is really cheap wine.

This is a nice blend of montepulciano and sangiovese. 2003 bottle was supposed be drank few years ago however the wine was great. Nice smell of red fruit with a bit cinnamon spice. Earthy wine. Believe it was aged in the French oak barrels. Dry wine with medium plus acidity. Silky tannins – over the age tannins became so nice and soft which you usually do not get from sangiovese. Certainly made as an old world wine. Nothing jumps out …

Still drinking very well. Bright acidity, high toned red fruit - simpe and pleasent. Close to my ideal cheap pasta wine.

Short impressions: Medium body, red fruit, well integrated, a bit simple but perfectly pleasent. Drink now (plastic cork).
