Full-bodied wine. Almost too much but excellent to fried halibut.

Finished a bottle sampled with Coravin. 12-14C is good. Solid for a couple of more years.

Coravin. Steamed kod, butter/egg mix foam, potatoes. Grilled lemon, apricot, butter, walnuts. Better than last bottle, should stay in shape for a couple of more years. Try the last bottle 2027. 12C rather than 16C

This certainly was a very interesting rendition, if unusual, for a Meursault. Classic on the nose, with some nuts and roasted bread. On the palate initially round, lucious and nutty. Then the wine takes a turn to present very bright (but not pointy) acidity. Very long fresh finish. Tasted like what we would imagine a Meursault to be that hadn't undergone malolactic fermentation.

Pnp drank over 3h. Better upon opening and faded. Still fruit, but less then earlier. Less energy but still good. Open, keep at 14 and do not go over 16C. I will drink my last 2 bottles as soon as an opportunity occurs.

Montrachet Riedel glas. Decant 3h. 14-17C. With escargot garlic and parsley. Grilled lemon, lovage, mint, ripe gooseberry, white pepper, a nice touch of wormwood, chalk. All amazing in combination. Complex, long and with med acidity. More interesting than most Meursaults. A wine I will remember!! 15C is best, decant more next time.

Opulent and intense with great acid and integrated oak. Sensational wine. Highly recommended.
