Barbadillo, Oloroso Reliquia Sherry

Ámbar con destellos caoba. La nariz es seductora, hay notas de azúcar quemado, nueces garrapiñadas, recuerdos a barniz de mueble viejo, algún toque de especias exóticas, algo de flor ajada. En boca la entrada es buena, reaparecen los recuerdos a especias exóticas, dulzor medio con buena contraposición de los amargos, notas de pasas sultanas, cierta calidez y bastante longitud. Delicioso.

Oloroso dulce con una edad media de 15 años. Técnicamente es un medium y por su carácter un cream (mezcla de oloroso y PX dulce). Caoba de media capa. Nariz expresiva, seductora, con notas de caramelo, praliné, barniz de mueble viejo, especias exóticas. En boca tiene buen ataque, abocado, ciertas sensaciones cálidas, toques de uva pasa, buenos amargos , dulzor comedio y bastante longitud.

The wine is clear and bright with a deep amber colour and presence of dense legs. Dense, concentrated, polish, salty. Refreshing despite the dense flavour spectrum. Ultra long.

Beautiful amber colour that is sparkling and alive. Dense like a wall with a hard attack of polish, tar and acetone. Behind this wall an incredible array of subtle flavours of roasted chocolate and coffee beans, rancio, dried fruit, liquorish, spices. Prolonged smelling numbs the senses - so only whiffs will reveal the subtleties. Outrageously elegant Palo. Started out very shrill and acidic, but gained strength and complexity over the six days it took to consume the bottle. It was at its best on day six and probably would have drunk well for another three or four.
