Somewhat atypical for Szekszárd, this looks like a Villány red because of the style: oaky and dark, with the emphasis on power rather than varietal character or fruits. But it’s done well for that genre, savoury, not overextracted, has some charm. Full-bodied and structured but retains some of brightness and drinkability of kékfrankos. Smooth texture and proper concentration for an entry level wine. Good wine and I would expect it to age well. Give it air if opening. 14,5%, correct …
