Stone Hill Vignoles Off-Dry

Even with a few years age this is holding up well. Great pairing with Thai curry.

For starters Vignoles is a French hybrid with NO Lambrusca in it's heritage. There is also no need to chapitalize this grape, especially in Missouri. This wine, as in past vintages, is very well done with white flowers in the aromatics, good body and length. Very well balanced and easy to drink. Love this stuff.

Very nice golden color in the glass with aromas of tropical fruit and that hint of foxy smell of the lambrusca. On the palate is all pine apple juice and tropical fruit with good acidity that stood up to spicy food. Good mouth feel with long length and balanced finished. I do not know if they are shaptalizing or do other winery gymnastics or not but if they did, they did it with a very deft hand.
