85-87 Punkte.

Decanted this for 45 minutes. On the nose it has hints of eucalyptus, mint, some cedar notes, and a strange note of dried blood (not in a bad way). The palate is medium bodied, still has some good acidity, the tannins are nicely integrated. Definitely feels "old world" especially since I have been drinking California cabs all weekend. Overall a nice wine, found it in my cellar, enjoyable with some pizza.

For the money? Tasty and drinking well with tertiary aromas of cedar and tobacco along with dark fruit. A hint of stewed fruit and cedar on the pallette

I think this bottle may have been corked, cork had a smell of vinegar and wine had an aftertaste of stale leather. This wine may have been good had it not had these issues, poured the bottle out.

Turned. Bad. Not sure if this has ever happened to one of my Bordeaux bottles before. Bought only days before opening.

nothing beats a good Bordeaux, smooth on the palate, with the hint of berries

slightly brownish on the outer edges of the glass; seems likes it started turning; not as bad as the 1996 though
