Carré-Courbin Pommard 1er Cru Les Grands Épenots

Dark with lots of power this needed a 20 min decant to come into it's own (plenty of sediment). Surprisingly dark for it's age and rather vinous with some menthol & forest floor secondaries. Hints of cola, rather modern and with very good grip that continues into a solid finish. This is at a very good place along the evolution curve and i don't see much upside in further ageing so enjoy over the next few years
