Just starting to integrate, this is a very well balanced, complex, off dry wine. Stonefruit and tropical fruit but with healthy acidity. This will last many years (A-).

It's closing in five years since last having a bottle, and it has matured slightly. My previous notes still stand. Clean, clear, medium (-) body, light straw Petrol, stewed apples, apricot jam, candied yams Tastes like the nose would indicate. Great acidity. Some wild honey hints. Sublime. Fantastic complexity and tropical fruit. Slightly sweet for me and short on the finish but I would buy again for the price.

Prior bottle was almost exactly eight months ago and this wine continues to show extremely well. Peach, pear, floral and mineral notes on the nose. Medium bodied with excellent upfront fruit (mostly white orchard fruit: apple and pear), but adding more density through the middle (peach) and then bringing in added complexity on the backside (tart orange and mix tropical hints). Prior bottle was 15 months ago and the wine has continued to evolve positively. White peach and mineral on the nose with just a hint of more golden peach. Medium bodied and opened at 47F, warming to 52F and showed extremely well throughout. I might give a slight edge to the wramer edge of that scale as it allowed the fruit to be a bit more expressive and the acidity to provide a bit more contrast. Mixed white orchard fruit …

Slightly edging out the 15' in these early days. While the latter is very ethereal in its sprightly mineral qualities, this wine has a firmer handshake. I find it to be very revealing of its site - the mineral qualities have power and a sort of memorable texture that makes me think i could identify this wine blind. Peach and mineral on the nose. Medium bodied with outstanding richness through the middle and great acidity on the finish. Lots of orchard fruit upfront, backed with apple, lime and melon. The balance between the fruit and the acidity is very well done and the acidity on the finish leads to good length and promises a long life.
