Smooth easy drinking

Deeply extracted, purple-black in glass, with aromas and flavors of candied, Jolly Rancher-like ripe plum, black cherry and strawberry, along with some smoky undertones. Sort of monolithic, but at the same time very interesting and unusual. Not as complex as some Chilean versions, but overall a basket of fruit, background acidity and few detected tannins. Very much worth a try to get a great example of the Carmenere grape's unique and pretty flavors. Medium+ finish.
