[0.3] Ungrafted Blinds - July 24 (Ungrafted, SF) : (blind) Deep ruby to a ruby rim. Reticent aromatics. Hints of prunes, slight sweet balsamic notes. savory oxidation - smells old (though I don't see rim variation). Dry, full-bodied, 14.5% alcohol, elevated acid, dense, medium plus tannins. Finish is long, with sour black fruit. Blackberry. Very little noticeable new oak. lateral group: High alcohol, Dark reds laterals - Shiraz - could fit - Malbec - could fit - Cab - aromatics …

Deep ruby red with purple red brim. Pleasant fruity nose with notes of bluebrries and raspberries. Mouthfeel is generous, medium bodied, fruity, with fine-grained tannins, nice acidity and notes of raspberries and blueberries. Nice, easy-drinking Ribera del Duero with very pure fruit. Perhaps not the most complex wine, but sheer joy to drink now on this very youthful fruitiness.
