Great surprise. Pale yellow in the glass. Nose of hay, lemon, green apples and butter. You feel the oak, but not as overwhelming as American chardonneys. Mouth you still feel the oak with butter and nuts but it is kept well in line the fresh minerality from apples and fresh sweetness from a pineapple. Great QPR at $23
