We drank it alongside the same wine from 2023. Love them both. Friends flagged pepper on the nose and palate of 2015, even “sulphur” on the nose (which I didn’t detect) compared to 2023. For me, 2015 was simply richer, fuller and with a touch of rumbling volatility which I really liked. The Traminer’s lychee floral aroma and flavour has settled down. Wine was a surprise. This was nothing like an Aussie Gewurztraminer. Very good but needs to match food.

Negociants Australia Portfolio Tasting : Pineapple, slate and spice. Good texture, with a light phenolic element. The balance ensures that the wine flows really well. The fruit has depth and dimension. The Chaffey Bros lineup at this tasting impressed me greatly.
