Another vote for this up and coming appellation. Toasted almond, melon, peach, smoke and some zippy grapefruit notes dominate along with a distinct mineral / saline note on the mid-palate, good texture and a finish that lingers. Another great bottling from Chapoutier. Drinking now and over the next 1-2 years.

Pale yellow colour. Nose is fruity and sweetish, peach and mandarin peel. Taste replicates the fruit while adding some fruit stone bitterness and a toasted character. Medium body, medium-low acidity, dry with some res. sugar. A decent wine, which went well with asian food, but somewhat off balance with the low acidity combined with the res. sugar. Wont improve with age. Very low qpr.
