A very good but not great Alsace riesling with a little age on it. Petrol and honeyed minerals starting to pop out in the nose, a little imbalanced on the palate perhaps, but a nice, food friendly riesling that might be able to age a few more years and improve a little. The 2019 vintage of this wine is quite a bit better in my opinion.

Nothing special to see here, although it is nice, and the minerality and balance is solid. This makes it a decent food wine for the most part but it doesn't really enhance anything in the way that really special wines do. Citrus and light notes of tropical fruit, middle-length finish

nose hints at tropical riches / stony palate / zesty citrus Bright lemon shines / deep dark core of rocky earth / dry, serious and almost brooding wine. finish a more mellow apple note that persists throughout the long finish. Wait for this. Drink 2020–2035. ANNE KREBIEHL MW

Better than my note from 2 years ago, but this wine is pretty pedestrian. More harmonious, still rich, dry, with more tropical flourishes than last time. Acid is more in check this time, but overall it doesn't strike me as getting much better.

Riesling and Vietnamese/French (Ngon's Bistro) : This wine had slight almond extract, pear and green mango. Overall, it seemed quite dry, maybe too dry, and was not harmonious.

88-90: decent dry/slightly off dry Alsatian Riesling. Definitely a hefty wine, it has a thick mouthfeel with a fairly floral nose. Honey and stone fruit notes, and finished with a fairly sharp acidity. My impression of this wine is that it has a lot of components that I like, but the wine lacks harmony. Hoping it will improve with age. It's good, but not great.

By the glass at the BA lounge. Relatively fresh bottle. Off dry in a way and has a few notes akin to a kabinett but definitely this has more weight and depth. Light caramel, soft petrolly side, good ripe fruits and the only thing out of sync was the low perceived ( at least) acidity. Good wine and very good 88
