Fruit, fruit, fruit, black berries, delicate nose, very ripe, soft /smoth tannins, only a hint of the oak, very nice south african style bordeaux blend. But at the end of the perfect drinking window... drink up over the next 2 years. A perfect, ambitious party-wine!

Bottle shock? Not as together as the bottle I had at the winery a few days ago. Too much leather and tobacco. Some cooked cherry. Won't assign a number rating on this one.

we really like this style of bordeaux blend. soft, earthy style of wine balanced with nice fruity and complexity. wish we could get more in the states.
