Oaky fruit and spice on the nose. The palate shows a really nice balance of fruit and oak. In a fantastic spot and a great vintage of this wine. Finishes just a touch short.

PnP. Nose shows canned pineapple, guava, and light notes of rubber. Palate delivers lime, kiwi, green guava, and grassy notes backed by chiseled mineral acidity. Finish of granite, lemon pie, citrus pith, and melon with lemon zest energy.

Nose of lemon with goldenrod and a hint of pith. Bright lime and floral white fruit with seashells and a salty brine note. Finish doesn’t really develop, wallowing in the salty bite and adding some waxy white fruit.

An excellent SB. Has a nice creaminess to the citrus/lemongrass nose and flavor. Fabulous acidity makes for excellent balance. Viscous for a Sauvignon Blanc. 5-12-16-8: 91/100.

Noses and tastes of a glass of fresh squeezed grapefruit and citrus juice. The vibrant acidity carries the decadent texture from the barrel fermentation, and sufficient citrus oil freshness keeps the tension amongst the different parts in balance. 2022 didn't quite have the depth and complexity of the 2021, but still a fantastic wine, especially at the price.

This is really nice! Tasting notes are from day two. Cantaloupe, papaya. You can tell there’s a very judicious oak treatment here, mostly from the figgy notes on the nose. On the palate, there’s more papaya/guava, some grapefruit pith, and a little tangerine. A really nice bit of texture, both from the tasteful oak treatment and the depth of the fruit. Looking back at Mar 2023 note, this has put on weight. Aromas of gooseberry at the top of the glass and pear at the bottom, however it lacks the focused flavor characteristics found in the best Bedrock SB's.

West Coast Wine Tasting at K&L : Really well textured sauvignon blanc. Stone fruit and papaya on the nose, comes across as on the white-bordeaux side of sauvignon blanc. Surprisingly dense on the palate. This is really nice.

There is nothing wrong with this wine, but we like the Bedrock Vineyard version better. This wine is a typical California SB flavor-wise with excellent mouthfeel, nose, and a lingering pleasant aftertaste. The Bedrock Vineyard showed a broader array of flavors and more complexity hence it was more compelling.

Probably open this way too early but hard to hold off. Slightly less acid then I was looking for, more fruit like papaya or mango, when I was hoping for green apple. Still have half a case left, will wait a bit to see how they evolve. At the end of the day, though, still going to buy again next year

Just delivered, and tastes young. Bedrock SBs usually have a crystalline quality to them, so hopefully will put on some weight and flavors become less muddy with time.

14.1% abv. Pale straw color, moderate aromatics. Orchard fruit, a hint of grapefruit and spice on the palate. Very nice depth and length with a touch of sweetness on the back end. Very tasty!
