CellarDoor TWE Tasting (Kimpton Margot Sydney) : Ripe black hued fruits tends to the jammy, creamy buttery lactic notes in support, sweet spice though the oak is contained. Nice nose. Juicy, more red hued fruit on the palate, blackberry and plum in the background. Alcohol warmth lends a slightly minty/fresh quality, talc textured tannins, time to come together.

Grape, Grain and Graze Festival (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney) : Reductive; agitation shows perfume, floral, rose, black fruits sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, black fruit is concentrated, silky tannins, balanced, good.
