It's surprisingly still solid although most of the tannins have completely integrated. It's earthy with aromas of currants and blackberries with a touch of eucalyptus and refreshing tartness on the end. We served 4 bottles yesterday at a party and the crowd loved it.

A very nice, rounded and smooth 2010 Bordeaux that is drinking really well now. Good fruit nice finish. Great bargain if you can find it.

Decanted for 4 hours and it really opened up. Deep brick red in color. Nose of floral perfume, vanilla, lots of oak. Rich blackberry, raspberry, followed by black pepper, blueberry, chocolate, with a touch of mint. Flavors linger in your mouth, almost turning citrus lemon.

Dark maroon brick in color. Nose of oaky perfume. Silky texture on tongue, with a delicate nature. Oaky perfume flavors with lush black berry and mint. Not super complex, but tasty.

Initial tasting: Deep red. Still closed nose with a hint of vanilla and blackberry in the nose. Flavors are tart and astringent, with olallieberry peeking thru. Quite a bit of tartaric crystals on the cork, which means the wine was not cold stabilized. Fruit emerges with air. Still needs time. Retasting 10/1/18: Notes not much different. A touch of green tannins in the finish — perhaps from mechanical harvesting? Could have used more oak.

Past its prime - aerated and all the fruit is gone...

Popped and poured - very tight and tannic - assume we drank too fast, as not sensing any of the vertures of prior reviews.

Very good. Very nice bordeaux flavors. Black and blue fruits, eucalyptus, earthiness. Lots of sediment. Very tasty and drinks well on its own.

Very Good. Big, bold wine. Eucalyptus, menthol, violets, blackberries. Delicious. Lots of sediment in last glass. Opened up and mellowed the second day.

A bit on the austere side when first opened, improved slightly after a few hours. Bizarre amount of sediment for such a young wine? Significantly improved on day two. Very unlike St. Emilion, big cherry flavors, repeated notes of vanilla sugar wafers. Really enjoyable in a non-Bordeaux way.

Had this over two nights. A little tight upon entry, but definitely approachable as it softened after some time open and into 2nd day. Notes of red cherry, tobacco leaf, herbs, earth and shades of mineral. Built with firm fine tannins, medium acidity, and ended with a soft elegant finish. Really good QPR.

Terrific wine. Cab Franc adds the perfect amount of wood and smokiness. Great QPR from WTSO.

Really impressive. Lovely right out of the bottle, but showed best after 3+ hours of air. Deep shimmering ruby red color and medium+ body. Nose not all that expressive, but palette is full of big juicy red fruit, mouthwatering acidity, and velvety tannin. Finishes long. Not complex, but powerful, balanced, and harmonious. Would be perfect with steak.

Outstanding Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Smooth and supple on opening, excellent fruit, well-balanced tannins. Long and complex finish. A superior example of this type of wine. I will be getting more if I can find it.

Hints of alcohol on the nose and mid-palate. Rich berries balance the alcohol well. Complex flavor.
