Notes from second day. Consistent with previous notes. Plum, cassis, pyrazine green herbal notes, graphite. Classic Chinon flavors. Medium body, medium acidity, rustic tannins that are better integrated than they were a year ago. Definitely a more rustic, old school style, but that works for me, and at $15, it's a solid value.

PnP. Plum, cassis, leafy/green herbal pyrazines, some graphite, very slight green bell pepper. Medium body, medium+ acidity, the tannins still have a rustic character to them, but the tannins are better integrated than they were from my June 2024 note (but there's still some chalkiness in the finish). Brawnier and less elegant than a 2022 Les Galuches I had from the same producer last week, but I like the rustic character and how true the flavors are to old school …

PnP. Plum, dark berry, slight bell pepper (pyrazine), earth and graphite. Medium body, medium+ acidity, rustic tannins in the finish. Classic Chinon profile even if it's a little rustic and rough. But at $16 full retail, there's a lot to like. Drinks well now, especially with food. My guess is it's better with a year or two of bottle age.

Classic chinon, thin, green pepper, bright purplish fruit with just a touch of fleshyness. A bit rustic in the tannin.
