During a walkabout tasting, so only brief impressions. Too ripe and heavy for me. Confirms that I am not a fan of Pfalz GG. May be they need more time but usually I struggle with them unlike in Mosel/Nahe.

Wonderful rendition of a GG. Still yellow with only a touch of gold. Silky texture, medium acidity. At a beautiful spot, but no need to hurry. Some pineapple and apricot and a huge dark and deep minerality. Long finish. Excellent.

Dry. Petrol, apricot on the nose and more mineral on the palate right out of the fridge. Shows more fruit as it warms. Good length. Good, but not exciting for the price.

Lauber German wine tasting (tribeca grill) : an excellent trocken wine, lovely medium body, long finish, tons of fruit on the nose but the minerality takes over. creamy finish. (again - slight bitterness on the finish as with many dry rieslings - german, alsace, austrian...i really dont love that part of it)
