I tasted this at the winery and was good enough for me to buy. This is just an empty wine. I am not convinced it is a flawed bottle, it may just be bad wine.

Thin and immature. Drinkable with a light meal, but would be overpowered by anything even remotely spicy or rich.

Tasted a bunch of Zins at the TR, this was my favorite. I liked it even better than the estate which is usually my favorite.
