Medium ruby in color; black cherries, cigar box, and blackberries on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like blueberries, black pepper, and camphor with a long finish. This wine was much better after a long decant. Tastes like old world Syrah. Good structure, understated fruit.
