Château Les Hauts de Caillevel Bergerac

Decanted for an hour - heavy sediment. On the nose there is a dominant green note - very stalky. I suspect the Cab Franc in the blend was unripe. Very difficult to get at the fruit behind. Similar story on palate. Dominated by stalkiness with a little sweet blackcurrant behind. Harsh alcohol and austere tannin adds up to a rather unpleasant whole. Not very nice.
