Surprisingly coarse bubbles for a traditional method sparkler. A nice nose of green apple followed in the palate by hints of green apple and traces of yeasty flavors. Fairly long finish. Certainly an enjoyable wine that stands up to food. I do appreciate its uniqueness and I think there is conceptual potential here though perhaps the producer would do better to disgorge this after a few more years.

Unique Greek Sparkler made in the Traditional Method. Primarily Xinomavro (Red Grape) with 10% Assyrtiko added. Fruity Pear and apple nose. Pear and white peach on the pallet with a creamy texture. Mineral driven with loads of tiny bubbles. Crisp acidity and great pallet cleanser. Refreshing!

Solid as always with yeast, citrus and stone fruit elements popping up in the finish. Nice mousse too. I think I prefer it with food rather than by itself. 89-90

A very good dry but fruity sparkling wine with tangy apple, citrus peel, peach and pear and a very long finish.

By the glass as part of the wine pairing of the My Origins menu at Etrusco, Kerkyra. Methode Traditionelle here and a bit of a blanc de noir from franciacorta than anything else and quite surprised to find this level of sparkling coming out of Greece . Soft, toasty, rich, welcoming and barring a touch of a confectionery side ( we wonder if it was the dosage) a very good sparkler. 89

Weekly tasting group RWP #337; Greece (@ RW) : White fruits and some yeast in the bouquet. On the palate firm acidity, rhubarb, white fruits and some sweetness. Special wine.
