Palate w tart apples, beeswax, ginger, herbs, some minerals, and herbs. Medium body w very nice acids and creamy mouthfeel and mild tannins. Nice finish of apple cider, ginger, beeswax, herbs, and subtle minerals. Took about 2h for the wine to come together and now w really nice balance; all flavors coalescing together. …

Splash decanted, enjoyed over nearly three hours, great showing. More freshness than the one from eight months ago, with spicy apple, soil/mineral, etc. Great complexity and focus. Amazing wine. A bit tight and acidic on open, decanted 30 minutes. Developed and opened over course of 2.5 hours. Intense amalgam of aged citrus, leaning towards, literally orange peel, underpinning of apricot, pear. Acid shifts to a delightful sour sleight of hand layering and going yin yang with the aged fruit and stone fruit. Based upon prior comments there is mild confusion afoot here. This is, in point of fact, an "orange" wine – meaning it is a macerated wine (35 days, no less!) vinified from white grapes – in this instance, the Umbrian cépage Trebbiano Spoletino. Almost like an orange wine, high acidity. Developed some in the glass, but not a far for the price. Would not purchase again.

Light to medium gold color. Sweet, yeasty nose with a touch of pear. Dry on the palate, fills out on the back end with flavors of ripe apple and strawberry and a long finish. This comes across more like a dry rosé or even an orange wine than a white. Very interesting and worthwhile. 91+ pts.
