Yalumba Grenache Rosé Block 2

Nose is hard to describe: savoury (smoked chicken?) and nutty (almond?), with a hint of resin (rosemary?). Palate initially shows a mild flavour of under-ripe strawberry, but time reveals notes of pomegranate and quince. Firm-bodied and very dry, with moderate acidity and a touch of chalk. Rewards contemplation.
