prepared sample N: medium-intensity aroma, red cherry-led, sweet vanilla hints, some light leafy tones. Easy-going, not complex, but well-defined. P: tannins are quite tight and grippy, perhaps not quite enough fruit to back them up. Acidity is pretty high. Finish is medium. This is a pleasant wine, easy-drinking with some grip, comparable maybe to a decent Cote de Beaune Villages. But it is not in the top-flight of GG Spatburgunder.
