Blackberry compote, green bell pepper, a pleasing bretty barnyard element, lavender and a touch of bramble. Some chocolate the next day. A nice mid-weighting. The spicy tannin is refined. A bracing acid finish. Nice ripeness and balance for a (cool vintage) 2021 red. The partial carbonic works really well. Very enjoyable now and should improve over the next 3-4 years.
