Initially this was all stems and bad green stuff, but after half an hour, that all disappeared and a subtle dark red fruit note was dominant. Decent finish and mouthfeel, so a good wine all around…just give it some time to open.

Opened and poured into humongous (Davis Family) Burgundy glasses about 30 to 45 minutes before tasting. Opened up VERY slowly over the course of the next two or three hours. Somewhat reticent nose, even after a couple hours. Dark cherries on the palate and (thank God) no cola notes. Medium weight and somewhat austere. Aside from the cherries, not a whole lot of varietal characteristics. Nice wine and quite elegant. Still fairly tannic.

Delightful nose of deep cherries. Complex flavors in the mouth. Long finish.

Great Russian River character, some bright fruit, darker notes, moderate depth. Nice balance, not quite the acidity of cooler regions.

Lisa loved it. Smooth, good depth, but elegant red fruit.

Took a while to open, and as it did, it became extremely well rounded. Aroma, taste and finish were all in sync .

Rich and fruity with good depth, and still a certain elegance to it.
