Very enjoyable again and the age really seems to have smoothed things out while retaining character and complexity. Dark fruited power, spice, yet elegant.

Nice wine here with great poise and balance. The wood and fruit are seamless, with silky-mineral mouthfeel and a nice fine tannic finish. There's a touch of herb and spice, tho subtle. Still quite alive and in a great place now.

Loads of ripe plum, cassis, blueberry and blackberry jam mixed with violets, smoke, toasted spices and a hint of cocoa. Reminds me of baby Clio. Amazing value!
