A wine of great finesse with a perfect linear structure, this had minerally lime fruit infused with a squirt of kerosene together with a pinch of pepper. Initially dry there is a hint of residual sweetness on a very fine finish. A bottle which really has benefitted from cellaring. CHP 90pts

Delicious streak of lime lubricated with a touch of diesel. A touch minerally, totally dry but very refreshing, I loved the fine boned structure and freshness. At 5 years now showing to show a little maturity contributing to the length of finish and complexity. Patience has been rewarded. Wonderful PQR. 90pts

This wine appears lemon yellow , with hints of green. The nose shows petrol and honey, lime , grapefruit and unripe peach, with hints of guava , white flowers, and mineral. On the palate, it is feels creamy and oily, cut through with an iron bar of razor sharp acidity, with flavours of prickly grapefruit, sour green apples, and saline minerality. The honeyed nose and slightly oily texture suggests off-dry, but it is actually bone dry, and uncompromisingly acidic. Quintessential …

12.5% abv. Served with poached salmon. Characteristic lime fruit overlaying a steely core coated with a little oil. Slightly off-dry on the mid-palate but fully dry on a good length finish. It perhaps lacked the intensity, minerality and concentration of a wine from the Rheingau with better credentials but nonetheless ticked all the right boxes and was thoroughly enjoyed. 88pts

Bit disappointed by this. It was OK, but to me lacked the classic acidity I'd expected, so it seemed a bit soft.

A light, bright and fresh nose; grapefruit and blossom, with pleasant promise. Taste, however, dispels that. Thin, vaguely spritzy, one dimensional and overly dry for a Rheingau Riesling; I was reminded more of a second rank Pinot Blanc from over the river. Not up to expectation. Undistinguished.

Lovely Riesling. Tropical fruit and citrus. Lovely long finish. Good acidity. Great as an aperitif or with food.

Exotic fruits (mango and pineapple) with jasmine and a touch of green on the nose. Add a dash of pepper on the palate and this was lovely

Lovely Riesling. Great aperitif and even better with food. Green tint in the glass with apple on the nose. Very good balance between fruit and acidity with a long clean precise finish.
