La Paulée Verticals-West Coast Edition: Raveneau, Vogüé, and More (The Pearl, San Francisco) : Pale. Reduction. Medium weight, glycerine without overly obvious wood. Ripe apple, cinnamon, good acidity, and soil. Very good.

Wow! Pale yellow in color, crisp on the palate, cucumber, cut grass, lemon notes, mineral. Just a dab of butter too? The clean acid in this glass is just begging to be paired with food, the overall impression is one of transparency and lightness. Wish I had a few more bottles...
