ad-hoc qurtet (at my home) : Bright, light golden yellow with hints of amber. The wine has a slightly viscous appearance due to its sweetness and potential aging. Rich and intense bouquet of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, along with ripe apricot and peach. Secondary Aromas of Honey and orange blossom, indicating the wine's sweetness and floral character. Tertiary Aromas include subtle hints of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruits, such as figs or dates. Peach pie topped with caramelized brown sugar, so clearly sweet, yet finishing with brightening acidity and good intensity, even if just moderately complex. Holding very well.

Rich full bodied dessert wine with honey and green fruit. Enjoyed after squid ink linguini with lobster.

Campania : Honeyed mango syrup. Bitter mandarin pith. Huge acidity to meet considerable sugar. Viscous but very little botrytis. Interesting, has the concentration and intensity of a great dessert wine but is lacking a little in complexity.

Garagiste Treasure Hunt (Chicago, IL) : Wide-open nose is full of candied peaches, honey and botrytis. Luscious palate is rich and complex. More peaches, pineapples, honey and botrytis. Tons of flavor and fullness on the palate. Yet fresh and lively. Very well done.

Mango, butterscotch on the nose. Thick, slightly cloying, orange peel, tropical fruits, very viscous. Medium long finish. This is very nice, albeit not terribly complex and needs a more interesting finish.

From 500mL. Late harvest irpina bianco (fiano di avellino). Medium-gold colour. Aromas of peach, apricot, and custard. Medium-full bodied, with good acidity and replays from nose. Moderate-long finish, 40s, with apricot notes.
