Wrath Syrah Ex Anima

Spectacular wine! Can’t believe the evolution here, last btl in 15’ Wow, one of the best Syrahs I’ve had this year to date. It’s a meal in a glass-savory, blk fruit on the nut. Drink NOW-2025

one weird bird! A blind taster would guess a South American carmenere. Must be in the oak. Super dark, intense fruit driven wine. This has gotten more put together since my last btl. Not your typical Cali Syrah.

Last of 4 bottles, it's stayed pretty consistent. The nose and front palate hit with savory herbs and grass. This is a huge and dense syrah showing the dark fruit and game meat flavors. I wish I had more as this is such a unique wine, it's not for everyone but it is fantastic.

Uber strong sulfur, burnt rubber on the nose. Opened 2 bottles with same flaw. Undrinkable.

90 now...This needs some cellar time to get gelled up. This had a real South American (Argentina) flavor as well. One might guess Bonarda, strange for a Syrah?? I might try another to make sure this one was not off kilter..stay tuned! Again I think time will make this a potential stunner.

Fabulously rich and dark. Herbal notes with dark fruit, berries and a nice long firm tannic finish.
