I thought this was excellent. To me, it spoke much more of place than of variety, with that delicious nutty/spicy/umami/mineral savoriness that I associate with Friuli and very little of the grapefruit/grassy/green varietal notes of Sauvignon. Maybe somewhat like a good white Bordeaux in that way, but even more toothsome than most of those. Good balance, with plenty of fresh, expressive peachy fruit to go along with the savory characteristics, and a very versatile food wine. Great value as well. …

this is very light on its feet but quite serviceable

A decent SB, but nothing very memorable. Lemon-green color. Grass, pear, stone fruit, melon aromas. A more interesting nose than palate. Palate is a little flabby for a SB, with some lemon peel, grassy notes, nice minerality and a medium finish. Very drinkable and good QPR.

From memory, no notes: Drank very nicely over two nights. A "smooth" and seamless Sauvignon, almost a touch of richness or creaminess to it against mineral tones, bright citrus and a touch of herbs?
