Domaine Boutet Saulnier Vouvray Méthode Traditionelle Brut

Decent, not worth more than $15 although I think I paid around $20. Very simple, not much lees flavor, and you can find much better for around the same price.

My first Vouvray sparkling. Really nice for $20, very simple but with really solid presence and texture. Feels a touch on the high-RS side for a brut, very gently sweet vanilla alongside various red apple tones and lemon curd. Might buy again as an alternative to something like Mumm Napa, but would have to try side-by-side.

The wine looks light gold colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. Intense perlage.
