Held up much more nicely than I thought it would. It showed its age, for sure, but there's nothing wrong with deep, savory flavors taking over for sweet extraction.

Still drinkable but not much life left. Silky mouthfeel. Smooth finish. Pair with mild cheese.

Pretty decent once it had some air. We enjoyed it.

A nice wine. Very smooth. Agree with Pintag that it was fleshy and that is good. I get overripe/muddled berries, chocolate, and some caramel. Could use a bit more in the way of tanins, but still very nice.

Drinking well now, but will probably be fine to sit a bit longer. Nice dark fruits, a healthy complexity that is a great value for the original cost of $15.

Flavorful, with forward fruit and oak. Definitely more new world than your typical Bordeaux "claret". The most remarkable thing about this wine was the very fleshy mouthfeel, a characteristic that I enjoy quite a bit.

Good quality, everyday cab. Purple ruby colour; not much variance. Cherry on the palate. Medium finish.

Not bad for a "grocery store" type wine. Not complex or big. But an OK drinker

Couleur pourpre intense. Un vin de style Médoc, mais avec beaucoup plus de fruit. Très concentré et intense. À boire absoluement avec un plat costaud.

Enjoyed the bottle more as it opened up...suggest letting it breathe or decant...

Feeling better about this bottle than the one consumed in 2009. Again, cherry & currant going on. Nice evolution over the course of the evening, as we took time with our glasses. The Coppola Claret is a tremendous daily drinker. A bit left, so should be interesting to see how it finishes off tomorrow.

It might have been me, but I just didn't like the wine, even after 2 hours of decanting. It had some fruit and other cabernet flavors but nothing like a good left bank bordeax. Not even in the same neighborhood as other CA blends, perhaps the low price should have warded me off. In this price range I'll stick to budget Auz wines or sweeter germans. So much for looking for value in Cali.

Is not 80 considered good? why can people not accept anything below 90 as drinkable? "brich on 1/25/2010 & rated 80 points: I found this literally un-drinkable and instructed my wife to use it for cooking"

Wonderful wine. Light and soft in comparison to a Bordeaux. Smooth and velvety texture with a delicious taste of blackberries. A little on the dry side, but the various blends smooths out the cabernet sauvignon and the result is delicious. Cheers!

Decanted for an hour. A great wine and should get better.

Getting tart cherry out of this, along with a little currant. Doesn't seem as full as the 2004 or 2005, which was a surprise. Thought this as a good "daily drinker", but can't say that for this vintage. Maybe there will be a return to form with the 2006.

While the cork seemed sound, this bottle seemed off to me. Not sure why, but thin, tart, and mostly not drinkable.
