Densely packed and somewhat tight. Some minty, herbal stuff going on along with earth and a persistent mineral streak. Elegant and composed, like other wines I've had from this producer.

Eucalyptus and a bit of bandaid on the nose. On the palate, cranberry, blackberry, black pepper, and an earthy note, with drying tannins on the pop and pour. This develops and integrates over time, with the tannins receding and the fruit becoming more prominent. This is tasty now, but it needs at least a couple of hours of air to show its best. It should improve over the next few years - I think Cellartracker's window starts too early.

Pop/pour. Meaty, peppery, a bit rustic at present. Somewhat masculine / hearty in flavor profile, this is not a perfumed / floral pinot. Seems well balanced if not quite integrated. Overall, nice fruit depth. Noticeable tannins on the finish. Gains complexity and integration with air. Will put this one away for a few years. 88+ points, with some upside with more time in the bottle. Update: much better on the second day, at least for my tastes. The meat and …
