Unlike the other reviewers, we had an excellent bottle, albeit it was a cork bottle and not screw cap. An earthy nose but perfumed, followed by excellent secondary characteristics - mushroom, floor forest and quite savoury notes. A most pleasant surprise. For cork bottles, drink now or 3+ years.

Still quite vibrant and bright given age. Nose was all earth, forest floor and some mushroom, but surprisingly fruity to taste, with truffle only hitting on the back palate. Length and acidity for days, could easily go another 5 years. Testament to the screwcrap.

Six nations tasting (Pyrmont) : stalky herbaceousness, red berries, perfumed…fruit doesn't carry to palate where herbaceous notes rule. time?

Peter Bourne - what's happening with Australian Pinot Noir (Dank Street, Waterloo, Sydney) : sour cherry, cream vanilla, spice and slightly musty. In the mouth there is initial cherry which is brushed aside by oaky vanilla and mid palate tannin with assistance from warm alcohol….nah
