Big, dark-fruited wine. Would have difficulty placing this in Savigny--seems more Pommard, but this vineyard can do this. Velvet power with some forest character.

Nose: raspberry, silver, thyme, salt Pal: raspberry, silver, thyme, salt Feel: medium, savory Finish: medium T7

Decent SlB. Nice sweetness on the nose, perhaps a little floral. A little rustic, but some good cherry notes vie with the rough tannins for dominance. Tasty, but not as elegant as I'd like. To its credit, still going strong on night three.

Bright purple with light pink rim, Bright, humid forest notes with a touch of musky spice and faint vanilla; sweet cherry-raspberry notes and subtle spice on the palate; silky, pure, pretty, elegant, medium - body; fairly high acidity but the tartness does it well. Very pleasing, juicy, and easy to like. 89+
