Pinot's at Gary's (Gary's Place, Minneapolis) : I liked this better than the Nunes but both are overpriced. The Drew earlier in the evening is less and far better. Nice acidity with mild wood, floral, earth, minerals, spice and red currants. More rustic and medium finish.

This one hit my sweet spot tonight. The Campbell Ranch is always a savory Pinot and a bit brawny in nature. Nice soft tannin with a great drying sensation on the back end. Great nose. Distinctive and unique. A nice bit of Pinot funk.

This is one of my favorite offerings from Papapietro Perry as the fruit is always exceptional and it offers a consistent and enjoyable drinking experience. This has savory and dark fruit with a solid backbone. Truly enjoyable and a value for the quality you find in the bottle.

Always one of the top tier sources from the Papapietro Pinot lineup. Darker red fruit and deeper body than some of the others. Presents a savory, rugged component as well that counterbalances the fruit nicely. Early in the drinking window as I see this coming more together a bit more in the next year or two. Very good now, but definite upside in the future.
