It is an ok drinking blended red that is in the modern style of slightly sweet with big fruit and heavy body. The fruit is mostly a cherry and blackberry with a touch of astringence and then a smooth/sweet fruit finish

Lots of fruit, slightly sweet, a touch of oak has a distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon note and I guessed Shiraz correctly. It is a good basic wine in a style quite commonly enjoyed like Apothic Red, and Hot to Trot; the only problem is not as good or high quality. It has a fruit and mild tannic finish; it hides its 15% alcohol nicely.

{screwcap, 15%} Of undescribed varietal composition, this had plenty of air from the night before, with half a bottle left. Big fruit-bomb type of wine, not much tannin, and a warm forward presence on the palate. Short finish; you know the style.

Deep purple in the glass. Nose of rum cherry candies, like brandy rum candied cherries. Fruit forward but alcohol really overwhelms the palate for me. No finish but alcohol and residual sugar. Almost like a spirit. Interesting aussie wine with good QPR but not my style. Too sweet and too much alcohol for my taste in wine.
