Chevaliers Bel Air CC - Annual Chablis dinner and this was WOTN for me. This is in a great place now. Oyster shells, flint, citrus, pear with a rounded mouthfeel and deep finish. No need for extra age as this is ready to perform and I feel is reaching peak.

Managed to balance a broad creamy richness with a bone dry finish really well. Fruit was more restrained that the village wine is, but this has more backbone and still feels like it will run on for a good few years. It has knit together a lot since the first bottle 4 years ago, but impression of a fairly young wine still.

Blind. Stor kropp, balansert, nesten kompleks. Svært behagelig.

Was better after letting it breathe for approx 3 hrs and just below room temperature

In the Billaud house style, but somewhat more complex than the village wine. Probably best to keep the other two a bit longer. Quite taut and yet also with an opulent fruit coming through, but I sense it will mellow with a few more years.

By reputation a very good Petit Chablis and this bottle bears that out. Ready but will last.

Already drinking well, this is open and opulent. Still with decent acidity, perhaps not the material for a really great Chablis, but well made and very enjoyable

Klar lys gul farge. Bred og fyldig aroma med preg av mineraler, sitrus, Den har glatt munnfølelese og er behagelig fyldig uten at det blir for mye. Fint balanserende syre. God lengde.

Tasted after J. P. et Benoit Droin's Mont de Milieu. Riper fruit, broader and richer. Slightly less vibrant on the palate with good length. 90-91+
