Deep, rich, trending oxidative. Gingery nose, more oxidative on the bouquet, barely any bubbles left, Krug-like, deep and bright with a certain angularity to the texture. Very dry, very long finish. Not sure if this was a pristine bottle, although it looked well stored. Still, engaging and highly enjoyable. 92-93 pts.

Had this delightful NV bubbly on a whim and so glad as was drinking beautifully. A rich, light golden hue with aromas of green apple and hints of red fruit and riper yellow apple. A fine and generous perlage opened with tastes of fresh green apple, yeasty pastries and soft, though fresh, minerality finishing with a splash of creamy cooked lemon pudding. Disgorged JUoy 2023. Some yeasty notes on the nose, along with fresh orchard fruits a bit of oyster shell. Quite full-bodied, this is rich and sweet (8g/L dosage) with flavors of cling peaches and sweet pastries. Coming across as overly sweet for me tonight (and last night), let’s see what the next bottle has to say. Drink now 90

A touch too sweet for me yet excellent. I need to try the non dosé.

Romjulsvin 2025 : Blind. Nydelig nese, kompleks, ganske høy dosage virker det som, mye mousse, kunne ha vært litt lengre. Overraskende når fasit ble avslørt. Kjøpte en del av denne når den kom, og synes den var over the hill, da. Her har det skjedd ting!

Popped and poured over 2 hours, had a more copper hue with plenty of effervescence. Had a fruity nose with a hint of yeast, flavors of raspberry and pear primarily, nice acidity with a very vibrant mouthfeel, very long finish, very well balanced with a long finish this was excellent!

2012 vintage

Pale gold champagne with fine bubbles. Nose is citrus with apple, pear, and almond. Taste is fruit forward with apple, pear, and a hint of citrus. Any toasted notes are light and not overpowering. This is a fruity champagne. Medium and refreshingly clean finish. Enjoyed at Park Hyatt Paris.

After a few hours this much more more plush and full. Had an initial funk on the nose that was off putting but came around nicely. Red raspberry, red apple, salty sea spray and vanilla are all in harmony. Great with food. I imagine this will continue to improve.

Creamy, rich, brioche, cherries, roses…

Bright golden colour, with a M to M+ bodied palate. Very pleasant nose and impressive aromatics of fresh flowers with a hint of toasted brioche. Honeyed notes started to develop after 5 minutes. Pity I only got one pouring of this aperitif! Increasing density on the palate, with a very pleasant dry mid-palate and lightly mineral M length finish. Young, dynamic wine improved with aeration. Very mineral, red apples, toast, vinous champagne with good potential for aging. Long crisp finish.

44% 2021, 66% Pinot Noir, from a half bottle. Mid-weight, mid-reductive, fruity. Succulent grapefruit, rounded off by nicely bitter almonds. Not a taut, mineral Côte des Blancs but balanced and not without brightness. 88 pts (add 1pt for standard bottle)

18 base, disgorged 23. Paired with asian food. Lighter and not as rich as I was expecting. Pleasant nose of pinot, raspberry and floral aromas. Palate high acid, very dry (considering 8g/L) but without the fruit to bring sweetness. Refreshing. Probably could have aged 5+ more years.

Ljusgul, fina bubblor, äpple, citrus, ok. Lagra 1-2 år till.

Pronounced nose intensity with red apple, toast, bread. High acidity and medium+ finish.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The Royale Réserve Brut pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of apple, lemon, raspberry, brioche, some toasted marshmallow, marzipan and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and the texture is creamy. Disgorged January 2024.

65%PN 32%C 3%Meunier Disgorged Jan 24. 8g dosage. Nose is ederflower and petrol Rich and creamy. Raspberries, and walnut shells. Ripple of acidity.

Root Day - 68% Pinot Noir/29% Chardonnay/ 3% Pinot Meunier. 2017 vintage/disgorged November 2021, Gold in colour with small continuous bubbles. Nose is brioche, toast, apple and even a little pear. On the palate it’s creamy, fully mature but still very much alive with medium body, medium acidity and flavours of brioche, mineral, toast, apple and a bit of lactic (from the lees during secondary ferment?). The bubbles keep it very alive and refresh the palate. It disappeared too quickly!

Very nice rose but not my personal fave

Zesty and fruity. Green apples, lemons white flowers and grapefruit. Great balance and the zero dosage is well integrated with nice overall texture. Slight oaky aftertaste. Works like a charm as an apertif in warm weather.

Too young yet, I think. Was a little sour on the palate.

Made of 65% Pinot Noir, 32% Chard and Pinot meunier Vintage 2020 , disgorged in June 2024 Old gold hue with nice small bubbles The nose is fresh, zesty. In mouth, freshness and white flowers are dominant and the final goes towards bakery flavors

Nice Champagne, matches well for brunch and sallad.

Vintage 2020; Degorgement June 2024 The color is a light yellow, the perlage is restrained and medium-fine. White flowers, lemon, green apple and lime on the nose. Very citrusy, chalky and fresh on the palate. There are fine yeasty notes, lots of minerality and an invigorating acidity. The high dosage (8 g/l) is clearly noticeable through an impression of sweetness and has not yet been particularly well integrated. Better to wait another year or two before drinking.

Opened this on a weeknight while carmelizing onions for smashburgers and what a nice surprise. Pale gold in the glass with a great bead, the nose is green apples and plenty of yeast. Very bright and crisp on the palate. Disgorged Dec 2022, would look to buy again at or below $60.

Nice round feel once again, fuller , richer and with a full profile and with a soft toasty edge. With age vs our earlier TN it seems to have gained weight and becoming a fuller wine than we remembered. 91

Vamping at Vinai (Vinai, Mpls) : Pale gold color. Drank a glass over 40 minutes. 2018 base. PN69, C28, M3, 8g/l. Really clean and bright, fresh air, fresh crisp green apple, orchard fruit, nice acidity, almond cream, wet stone, a touch of apple peel. Love thus.

Fulsome nose of yeast and nuts Basket of fruit with raspberries and cherries to go with the Macintosh apples. Full midpalate with enough acidity to balance the juicy 8g dosage. Delicious.

I have tried this too often, when I open the bottle on the table, with my nutcracker device, the bottle flows over, a glass dissappears on the table cloth, could be the bottle was to hot , though it was taken from the fridge, laying horisontal for months, degorged in March 2024, but it was about 10 degrees cel. the Champagne is OK, but not to my satisfaction, 40€ , I have one left, do not buy it anymore🥂

Not my favourite Goisses. A bit indistinct and muddled, missing the precision I expect of truly great grower champagne now.

Mogna röda sommaräpplen och grapefrukt. Fin fräschör. En solid standardchampagne som jag gärna provar igen, kanske på altanen i sommar.

Took to Birchrunville with Lynn, Leo, Darrell and Cindy. I thought the wine was good.
