Here's a wine that is really settling into its power. Previous visits with this same wine found it to be a little young and disjointed but now it's really all falling into place. Hits very Burgundian on the nose. V young so almost purply ruby in colour. Nose shows raspberry undergrowth stone blackcherry and hint of menthol. Medium bodied with super silky yet powdery tannins delivering thoroughly delicious bright juicy red fruit with surprising complexity and length.
